Park Academy Childcare Family Offer

Established in 1995, we are a family run childcare provider with over 20 years of experience. The Park Academy Childcare was founded, and is still run, by two mothers. Every single thing we do begins with the same question: “What is best for the child?” We employ only nurturing, qualified people with a passion to always put the child first.

We understand that choosing a childcare provider is an emotional and personal decision and this is why we work with Mums and Dads too. Over the last 20 years we have worked in partnership with our parents and have grown with their families. Each of our centres have extensive CCTV networks and are designed to make the children ‘feel at home’. That means soft carpets for the babies and real touches of home like dressers and couches. They will discover rooms at their own height. From science and nature to construction and a ‘dressing up’ corner with outfits and mirrors including a ‘home’ corner with play kitchens and shopping trolleys. All rooms have their own toilets/nappy changing room and kitchen.

‘OWL’ Learning

No child learns the same way. They all need the opportunity to learn through a means that works for them, and that they enjoy. That’s reflected in our dedicated ‘child-led’ approach, and the key reason for our specially developed curriculum: “Our World of Learning” (OWL). But more than anything it means fun. Learning while laughing, discovering while playing. Ensuring children can be children while also feeding their minds, rewarding their curiosity, sparking their wonderful imaginations.

Nutrition

Dean, our head chef, and his team are passionately committed to ensuring that every child enjoys fresh, in-season and nutritionally balanced food. No Park Academy child will ever be served processed food.

JUMP Programme

Children love our JUMP Programme – fun exercise based classes specifically devised by our professional Sports Coach Eamonn.

Party Buses

Our buses are on the road every day, taking the children on educational day trips relevant to their curriculum: whether to The National History Museum one day or Croke Park the next. All our bus drivers are former Garda members.
