Halloween is just around the corner and the kids are probably already bursting with excitement for dressing up.

To keep them happy until the 31st, Powerscourt Gardens have two great family events for you and the kids with plenty of ghoulish decorations, lanterns and trick or treat ideas at the Garden Pavilion.

Continuing on from the success of 2013's sold out event, Imaginosity - Dublin Children's Museum - are back again. On the 25th October, kids can take part in a spooky walk through the haunted grounds of Powerscourt where they will meet creepy characters including the Corpse Bride and Frankenstein. It is suitable for children aged 3-10 years old and advanced booking is required.

There will also be pumpkin carving on the 26th and 27th at 12pm and 2pm in the Powerscourt Garden Pavilion. Whether you and the kids are first-time carvers or an experienced bunch, there will be plenty happening to keep everyone happy. Youngsters will get the chance to prepare, design and carve a pumpkin into something festive. Fancy dress is encouraged to get into the Halloween atmosphere. Places are limited and need to be booked in advance.

Located in the beautiful Co. Wicklow surroundings, everyone is sure to have a pretty spooktacular time.
