Join the Baboró Children's Panel
Help us put children's voices at the heart of Baboró! Baboró is looking for children who will be starting 4th class in September 2024 to join our Children’s Panel to ensure their voices are included in our planning and decision making.
Podcasts from Baboró's 2023 Festival
If you missed our talk series at the 2023 festival, three fantastic talks are now available on Spotify and Apple Podcasts. The Baboró podcast features conversations with early childhood experts and Irish and international artists.
Baboró is for Everybody!
In this video, the Children’s Panel explains what to expect at Galway’s annual festival for children and families. This year's Baboró festival will take place 11 - 20 October, and we look forward to welcoming families and schools to theatres, galleries, libraries, and other venues across the city and county.
2023 Festival
Our 2023 festival has come to an end!
Together we peered into little worlds, explored the cosmos, saw each other from hilarious new perspectives, danced in a rain of paint and dived into magical worlds.
Support Baboró
Many families and schools do not have the means to access the arts.
Baboró works to address this barrier by subsidising tickets to our annual festival from a production cost of €35 per person to €10 and less (2022 festival subsidised by 78%). We also run free events, free workshops and provide free tickets to underrepresented communities.
Your support maintains this subsidised ticket price for all children and provides free tickets to teachers, carers and disadvantaged communities.
